In modern day American society, I believe that arranged marriages will not work out. The reason I think arranged marriages would not work out is because people are very opinionated in modern American society. People would not want someone else to pick who they are going to spend the rest of their lives with. That couple would just be living a sad life because most of the time in arranged marriages people get unhappy. This could also lead to one of them becoming unfaithful in their husband or wife. This is why I believe arranged marriages would not be a good thing for modern society.
